Buses & Public Transport

Malta Local buses are very cheap but are not very practical for getting around the islands, especially in the evening. switching is almost always required in Valletta.Taxis, on the other hand, are very expensive so car hire should be seriously considered.

Apart from the usual international car hire companies there are many local ones.
